Zyciderm Plus Cream

Zyciderm Plus Cream is a combination of five medicines : Ofloxacin, Clobetasol, Miconazole, Terbinafine, and Dexpanthenol. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them. Clobetasol is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Miconazole and Terbinafine are antifungal medications. They kill and stop the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection. Dexpanthenol is an emollient that softens and moisturizes the skin and decreases itching and flaking. This promotes healing of the skin infection.
