Pegalup Oral Solution belongs to a class of drugs called osmotic laxatives, which are used to treat constipation. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements in which the stools are often dry, painful, and hard to pass. Pegalup syrup contains Polyethylene glycol, Potassium chloride, and Sodium bicarbonate that work by carrying water to the stool, which loosens and increases stool volume. It helps to overcome sluggish bowels and works gradually within 24 to 48 hours.
