Baidyanath ChandanasavaChandanasava (also spelt as Chandanasavam) is an ayurvedic medicine mainly used for urinary disorders and kidney diseases. It is the effective ayurvedic solution for burning micturition, urinary tract infections (UTI), pyuria, dysuria, hyperuricemia, kidney stones (renal calculi), cystitis, chronic kidney failure, pyospermia (leukocytopenia) and gonorrhoea. Chandanasava fights off a wide range of microbes, so it gives relief from urinary tract infections and its Lithotriptic property helps to dissolve the stones. However, the effects are mild, but along with other medicines, it gives good results in its indicated diseases. Chandanasava has antimicrobial properties and it is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections. Urinary tract infections and pyuria, alone may limit the progress of the disease, so it might have bacteriostatic action.
